200 miles of flat gravel. It could be hot, windy, wet, or even cold.
The week after Mother’s Day.
Video of the Cowboy Trail
*I’ve never ridden gravel trails, so this will be a first for me :)
The plan:
// Meet in Norfolk evening of Monday, May 13th.
// Tuesday early we get in a van and drive 3 hours to Valentine, Nebraska. (that sounds like a bad mission trip already)
// Start pedaling by 8a.
// Day one: 113 miles ending at the Holiday Inn Express in O’Neil with something good to eat and drink and long conversations.
// Day two: 76 miles back to Norfolk
** Cost: $475.00/each
// Includes transportation from Norfolk to Valentine for you and your bike.
// Transportation of your stuff along route. We will have a SAG wagon.
// Hotels Monday and Tuesday. Catered dinner Tuesday night.
// Water, ride snacks.
Does not include transportation to Norfolk on Monday. You can leave your vehicle.
**If more five go the trip could be cheaper.
Disclaimer: There’s no insurance, there’s no legit medical care, there’s no one to sue here…this is going on a bike ride with Dave and a few people and a friend in a car with some coolers of water, food, and maybe a first aid kit.
